What Washington’s pages say

Commerce (page updated June 15, 2026): DOE released Program Notices 26-1 and 26-2 on June 1; 'We're evaluating how these changes affect the program and are working with our rebate administrator to determine next steps.' Timeline shows Step 5 'Program operation preparation — We are here'; Step 6 is DOE launch approval. Not retroactive. Do not confuse with Washington's separate STATE 'Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR)' program, funded by the Climate Commitment Act and already running through 40 local administrators (about $39.3 million in recent awards; page updated Sept. 8, 2026).

The Building Performance Association's June 2026 map, a trade-group source and the only national list since DOE stopped publishing one, lists Washington as “Applied & Funds Awarded (not launched)”.
