Efficiency Arizona (Arizona's IRA Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates, HEAR; its posted consumer protection plan is filed under IRA section 50122)

Partly open Open with restrictions (HEAR). Efficiency Arizona says 'Applications are still being accepted, but must meet the new program guidelines.' August 28, 2026 was the last day to reserve under the old rules. The program launched in August 2024, was paused at one point 'Due to Federal Grant Funding Uncertainty', then 'restarted ... on a limited basis'. A program announcement 'As of April 30' (year not shown; site footer © 2026) reported 1,076 rebates issued. No HOMES (whole-home) program was found.

What Arizona’s pages say

Could not verify on an Arizona state page: resilient.az.gov (Office of Resiliency) blocked automated access and the former azgovernor.gov Office of Resiliency URLs return 'Page Not Found'. The Building Performance Association's June 2026 map counts Arizona as 'Applied & Rebates Available' (launched), but that map does not say which program (HOMES or HEAR) or whether it is still open after DOE's June 2026 guidance. Treat status as unverified.

Note: the HEEHR and HOMES statuses above come from our Phoenix research, as explained on those cards; the paragraph above is from our state-by-state check.

The Building Performance Association's June 2026 map, a trade-group source and the only national list since DOE stopped publishing one, lists Arizona as “Applied & Rebates Available (launched)”.
