What Colorado’s pages say

CEO 'Important Program Update (Updated August 2026)': 'The HEAR Single-Family Program for Region 1 and Region 2 is closed.' High demand has slowed reviews; rebate guaranteed only after a formal reservation notice. HER is limited to manufactured/mobile homes and large multifamily buildings (single-family site-built homes are not eligible for HER in Colorado). New construction, second and vacation homes ineligible. CEO FAQ: 'The initial phase of the HEAR program launched through the Colorado Weatherization Assistance Program on October 30, 2024. The HEAR Single-Family Program launched November 13, 2025. The Program closed for Region 1 and 2 on August 1, 2026.' Remaining HEAR Multifamily, HER Single-Family and HER Multifamily are expected to launch in fall 2026; rebates expected through 2029 or until funds run out. HEAR dashboard (updated Aug. 3, 2026): about $45.6 million total HEAR rebates ($31.9 million single-family, now $0 remaining; $13.7 million small multifamily). The CEO pages disagree slightly on the closing day (Aug. 1 vs Aug. 2, 2026). The Building Performance Association's June 2026 map counts Colorado as launched. Page does not describe changes for DOE's 2026 Program Notices.

The Building Performance Association's June 2026 map, a trade-group source and the only national list since DOE stopped publishing one, lists Colorado as “Applied & Rebates Available (launched)”.
