Warranty
Registration: Basic warranty only if not registered within 60 days: Signature 10-year parts and 10-year compressor; Elite 5-year parts and 10-year compressor; Merit 5-year parts and 5-year compressor. Registration isn't required in California, Florida, Georgia (installs from Jan 1, 2026) or Quebec. With registration, Signature rises to 12-year compressor and 12-year parts.
Labour: With registration, owners can instead pick an option that includes 3 years of labour (Signature 10-yr compressor/10-yr parts/3-yr labour; Elite 10/7/3; Merit 7/7/3). Comfort Shield paid labour plans through dealers are US-only.
Lennox publishes no separate Canadian schedule; the same basic terms apply if not registered within 60 days. Registration isn't required in Quebec.

Watch-outs
- 60-day registration window (except CA, FL, GA and Quebec); unregistered Elite and Merit units fall to 5-year parts
- Ducted cold-climate pages give no capacity-at-5°F figures, which makes comparison hard
- Mini-split warranty is shorter: 5 years on covered components and 7 years on the compressor (Lennox MWLD/MMLD pages)
- EL18KSLV is Canada-only, ML15KSPV is marked 'Limited Availability', and the mini-split refrigerant isn't named
Which rebates Lennox models fit
Every model in these tables is ENERGY STAR certified, which is the federal equipment rule for the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates where your state runs them. 83 Lennox outdoor models also meet ENERGY STAR Cold Climate, which several utility programs require. The 25C tax credit ended for heat pumps placed in service after December 31, 2025.
