Watch-outs
- Not really DIY: product pages say R-454B units must be installed and commissioned by a qualified professional, and senville.com says 'DIY installation will void your warranty coverage'
- Parts covered for only 5 years (Leto: compressor also 5 years), and labour is never covered
- Leto is a standard unit rated only to -15 °C (5 °F); not suitable as primary heat in cold regions
- Buyer arranges their own installer, and Senville doesn't disclose where its units are made
Which rebates Senville models fit
Every model in these tables is ENERGY STAR certified, which is the federal equipment rule for the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates where your state runs them. 38 Senville outdoor models also meet ENERGY STAR Cold Climate, which several utility programs require. The 25C tax credit ended for heat pumps placed in service after December 31, 2025.
