In the US 10-year parts, 10-year compressor

Registration: Varies by line. IDS family: 10-year parts and compressor on residential installs run from the commencement date without registration; registering within 90 days adds a labour allowance. Climate 5000 ductless (R-454B): 7-year parts unless registered within 90 days (then 10); compressor 10 years either way.

Labour: Registered IDS products: Bosch pays labour under its Warranty Labor Allowance Schedule for 90 days from commencement. Climate 5000: 90 days labour only when an accredited Bosch Home Comfort Pro contractor registers the unit.

The IDS and Climate 5000 certificates cover products purchased and used in Canada, with the same terms as the US (IDS: no registration needed for parts; Climate 5000: 7-year parts unless registered within 90 days). Quebec isn't mentioned.

Climate 5000 parts cover is 7 years unless registered within 90 days

Which rebates Bosch models fit

Every model in these tables is ENERGY STAR certified, which is the federal equipment rule for the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates where your state runs them. 62 Bosch outdoor models also meet ENERGY STAR Cold Climate, which several utility programs require. The 25C tax credit ended for heat pumps placed in service after December 31, 2025.
