The rebate angle

Reep Green Solutions is the region's community non-profit and publishes its prices: $540 for the initial evaluation and $406 for the follow-up, with no HST ($490 for the first visit if you're a Kitchener Utilities gas customer). It isn't one of the seven organizations approved for Home Renovation Savings assessments, though, so its evaluations don't earn that program's $600 assessment rebate or its insulation rebates; for those, book one of the seven and get the follow-up done within 180 days of the first assessment or by December 31, 2026, whichever comes first.
