Claiming Ontario's Home Renovation Savings rebates? Only assessments from the seven HRSP-approved organizations qualify for the $600 rebate and the assessment-path upgrade rebates. Typical Ontario prices are about $500–$700 for the initial EnerGuide evaluation and $200–$450 for the follow-up, plus HST where it applies (Windfall Ecology Centre: $500 and $250 plus HST; Reep Green Solutions: $540 and $406, no HST). The Home Renovation Savings Program pays back $600 toward the two assessments once you install at least two recommended upgrades, but only assessments from the seven HRSP-approved organizations qualify (marked “HRSP-approved: Yes” below), and the follow-up has to be done by December 31, 2026. Few providers publish prices; the ones here that do show them on their card.
Home Renovation Savings (province-wide): $600 toward assessments, up to $7,700 insulation and $100 per window on the assessment path; without an assessment, heat pumps up to $7,500 ($2,000 if gas-heated) and up to $10,000 for solar with a battery. CMHC-insured recent buyers can add the 25% Eco Improvement premium refund.
Every listing is an NRCan-licensed service organization — the registration source is linked on each profile, compiled from public registries and provider websites and checked October 2, 2026. We list no solar or HVAC sales reps as auditors.
