Warranty
Registration: York's site, which also targets Canadian buyers, publishes no separate Canadian terms; ask the dealer for the Canadian certificate.
Register online within 90 days of installation (or closing) or coverage reverts to 5-year parts and a standard 5- or 10-year compressor term. Registered Affinity split systems (e.g., the R-410A YZV) carry a lifetime compressor limited warranty; current R-454B models such as YH9 and YH6 list a 10-year compressor.

- Brand in transition: york.com now redirects to york.bosch-hcgroup.com and the name is licensed from Johnson Controls; ductless pages show only older SEER ratings, no refrigerant and no heating limits
Which rebates York models fit
19 York outdoor models meet the cold-climate numbers NRCan publishes for its Eligible Products List (COP of at least 1.8 at −15°C at full output, 70% of rated capacity, a variable-speed compressor) on their ENERGY STAR ratings. That list decides Ontario's Home Renovation Savings rebate, Manitoba's, New Brunswick's, Yukon's and Newfoundland and Labrador's, and the federal National Heat Pump Rebate expected in early 2027.
