In Canada 10-year parts, 10-year compressor

Registration: Rheem's certificate covers equipment installed in the US or Canada (Canadian owners pay shipping to return failed parts); registration is via rheem.registermyunit.ca. rheem.ca publishes no separate Canadian terms, so the US/Canada certificate's non-registered terms presumably apply; no Quebec-specific rules were found.

Conditional terms need registration within 90 days of installation (or home closing); unregistered units get shorter 'non-registered' terms, e.g., 5-year parts on Select and Classic models. Floating Air ductless: 7-year parts (10 if registered), 10-year compressor either way. Where offered (e.g., Prestige RP19AY), the 10-year Conditional Unit Replacement needs registration, and Rheem's certificate adds conditions such as a matched new Rheem indoor unit, a designated EcoNet thermostat and district pre-approval. Florida installs keep full terms without registration.

Which rebates Rheem models fit

34 Rheem outdoor models meet the cold-climate numbers NRCan publishes for its Eligible Products List (COP of at least 1.8 at −15°C at full output, 70% of rated capacity, a variable-speed compressor) on their ENERGY STAR ratings. That list decides Ontario's Home Renovation Savings rebate, Manitoba's, New Brunswick's, Yukon's and Newfoundland and Labrador's, and the federal National Heat Pump Rebate expected in early 2027.
