Who qualifies
Closed, with every deadline passed: follow-up assessments were due December 1, 2025 and advisor submissions December 31, 2025. Late payment requests aren't processed.
What to do instead
Start fresh with Home Renovation Savings: book a new initial assessment through one of its seven approved service organizations.
Plan new upgrades. Work done before the new assessment, or already rebated under HER+, can't be claimed again.
Move quickly: the Home Renovation Savings follow-up assessment must be booked by November 30, 2026 and done by December 31, 2026.
Waiting on a HER+ payment for a file submitted before the deadline? Contact your energy advisor or service organization first.
The gotchas
- There are no exceptions to the December 2025 deadlines.
- Upgrades rebated under HER+ can't be claimed again under Home Renovation Savings.
- Enbridge's HER+ page has no "ended" banner — go by the dates.

If a site is still advertising HER+, its information is out of date. Enbridge's own HER+ page is still online with the old deadlines and a pointer to Home Renovation Savings.
