The larger 2024 Cross-Canada survey reports 0.9% (1 in 113) of houses at or above the guideline for Vancouver Metro Area (Vancouver CMA).

Township of Langley Green Building Rebate Program (GBRP)

Township rebate program tied to building permits. Its home-renovation workflow (2024 PDF) pays $15 per GJ/yr of energy saved between pre- and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluations (at least 10 GJ/yr saved, max $750 and not more than the permit fee) plus a $300 energy evaluation rebate. The Township's rebates page now says only 'Program updates coming soon' and asks applicants to email greenbuildings@tol.ca, so current amounts and availability are unconfirmed.
