C-NRPP (Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program)

Also called: C-NRPP certified · C-NRPP professional

Canada's certification program for radon professionals; Health Canada recommends a C-NRPP certified professional to fix high radon.

What it means

C-NRPP certifies radon professionals, including the contractors who design and install radon reduction systems, and its certified professionals are trained on the Canadian standard for that work. It also runs performance testing for radon monitors. You can look up certified professionals in its online directory.

Why it matters in an audit

A radon fix is only as good as its installation, so checking for C-NRPP certification is the simplest way to vet a mitigation contractor or a test provider.
